Henry Hohauser built the South Beach Hotel in 1939, and was carefully restored it to preserve and recreate the original features for which it was honoured by City of Miami Beach with the Beautification Award. Sister hotel of the Crest, both are exquisite examples of the South Beach spirit and style.
Whereabouts: In Art Deco Historic District just across The Bass Museum, and the Convention Center. The sandy beaches, Lincoln Road, are easily accessible by foot.
